Tariff Information 2025
At Dairy Connection, we understand that every decision we make impacts the business communty we proudly serve. As a U.S.-based distributor working with manufacturers around the globe, we've been closely monitoring changes to U.S. trade policies and related tariffs, taking care not to act prematurely.
Recently, we've begun receiving confirmation that these tariffs are affecting manufacturing costs. While our vendors and we, as your distributor, have done our best to absorb these cost increases, the time has come when a portion must now be reflected in pricing.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding these tariffs, our approach moving forward is simple:
If a tariff surcharge is applied to a product we receive, it will be added as a tariff surcharge to your final Dairy Connection invoice as a separate column for that specific product. If we do not receive a surcharge, no additional cost will be applied. However, please note that product prices on our website will be inclusive of any applicable tariff, and your final invoice from Dairy Connection will outline any tariffs on a line-item basis. We will continue to monitor each incoming shipment on a case-by-case basis until the tariff situation stabilizes.
As of 6/5/2025, cultures continue to be exempt, while enzymes and various other non-ingredient products are affected. We'll continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available.
These surcharges may affect your purchasing decisions. Please don't hesitate to contact us -- we're happy to work with you on product substitutions, order patterns, or any other strategies to help manage these changes.
